Red Center Glory, 2013
Acrylic on canvas.
85 x 65 cm
When travelling on The Ghan recently, (Adelaide to Darwin), I photographed out of the window of the speeding train. One of the passengers was able to clock the speed of the train and told me it was travelling at 105 kms per hour. This is one images I photographed. The soil is very red in places, and it does change colours often. It shows the arid landscape as little rain falls there. Sometimes there are trees, or shrub, or ant hills, it varies depending on the amount of rain the area receives
This work is not framed, on canvas.
